HIDDEN PATTERNS Mini Design / colour and trim 2015
A project for the city of Eindhoven. Because Eindhoven was bombed during the Second World War, the city built a new image with innovation as new identity for the city.
According to the media, social cohesion is disappearing. Though, at the same time, community gardens and village cooperatives are popping up rapidly. Government and municipalities are organizing more often with the goal of increasing contact within the district.
Students of department Forum from Design Academy Eindhoven visited Istanbul for a research project. Forum is the department that focuses on the social and cultural context of design. This project was in collaboration with the ITU Istanbul Tekenik Universitesi.
